I am currently working with Bill McKinnon looking at the icy satellite of Saturn called Iapetus.
Iapetus the black and white tennis ball:
(also known as the oddest albedo pattern/contrast in the solar system)
Iapetus the walnut:
(also known as the oddest/only equitorial ridge in the solar system)

What I do:
I look for linear features which may indicate tectonic activity. I then hope to try to match these inferred stresses to a possible cause through modeling.
Highest Resolution Image of Iapetus' Dark Side
Exciting News:
Cassini has now obtained amazing images of the bright side of Iapetus as well.
